For the Frosting:

Instructions

In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, powdered sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in vanilla extract. Gradually add flour, cornstarch, and salt until a soft dough forms.

Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.

Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness and cut out desired shapes.

Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes, until cookies are just set and still pale.

For the frosting, beat softened butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream. Adjust texture as needed.

Frost cooled cookies and top with sprinkles. Let set before serving.
Notes
Do not overbake; cookies should remain pale for the softest texture.
